JOHANNESBURG IS STILL AFRICAS WEALTHIEST CITY IN 2025

Johannesburg, often referred to as the “City of Gold,” continues to lead Africa in terms of wealth concentration. With a population of around 5.6 million, the city is home to approximately 12,300 millionaires and 2 billionaires. Its metropolitan GDP is estimated at about $76 billion. ​
